Sherry Wins 2016 Bantam Provincials

The North Bay Granite Club’s Kate Sherry is a provincial champion once more!

Sherry, who plays vice for Team Brunton out of the Sudbury Curling Club, went undefeated to capture the 2016 Tim Hortons Northern Ontario Bantam Girls Provincial Championship hosted by the Community First Curling Centre in Sault Ste. Marie February 25th – 28th.

This is a third provincial curling championship for Sherry who won this same event last season and was the Northern Ontario representative in the junior girls category this year (with Team Megan Smith).

Sherry now prepares to head west for the Under 18 World Curling Championships in Edmonton this March.

Sherry has received sponsorship and donations from community businesses and organizations to help make these successes possible.
