In March North Bay went CRAZY for Curling when the Ford World Women’s Curling Championship took over the City, now it’s your chance to hit the ice with an event crafted especially for YOU! New this year… Cogeco Presents “Homecoming Weekend”, a season-opening Bonspiel and Party only the Granite Club is capable of throwing!
Community Bonspiel: No experience is necessary to participate in the Community Bonspiel taking place on Saturday October 13th. Register as a group of four or as an individual to be placed on a team for only $30/person. Entry includes three 4-end Curling games, two meals, snacks and live entertainment.
*Community Teams may consist of no more than two Curling Club members, of which only one may play a back end position (Vice or Skip).
Cogeco Cup: Twelve experienced Curling teams will compete for the “Cogeco Cup” with draws running Friday Night, Saturday Night and Sunday (televised final at Noon). This is a trial run for what Cogeco hopes to develop as province-wide competition resulting in the bringing together of various district winners for a larger championship. Register as a team or individual for $50/player. Entry includes three 8-end games, two meals and live entertainment.

Bring your clean indoor running shoes and warm layers of clothing, we’ll provide the rest. Certified Curling Professional Bobby Ray will introduce you to the North Bay Granite Club and a sport famously enjoyed by Canadians of all ages.
Head protection is encouraged and must be supplied by the participant. Please arrive willing to learn by no later than 5:30pm.

North Bay’s Cole and Kevin have mastered the art of bar trivia providing a fun, mind exercising and hilarious 2-hour drinking pastime where people win some crappy prizes and make new friends.
Please arrive NO LATER than 9:30pm.
Based out of North Bay, Ontario, alternative solo musician Nicholas Cangiano is known to bring a unique and immersive experience with each of his performances. Stringing layers of guitar, drums, and vocals together to create original takes on several covers as well as original compositions. His music and live performances are best compared to artists such as Radiohead, The Black Keys, Chet Faker, Glass Animals, MTash Sultana, and more.
