KISS: 2016 Travelers Insurance Northern Ontario Men’s Curling Championship
The Event
The North Bay Granite Club is preparing for the 2016 Travelers Insurance Northern Ontario Men’s Curling Championship to be held in North Bay February 10th to February 14th 2016.
Committee Chair Mark Brown is pleased to announce that the weekly event tickets for the event go on sale Monday, November 16th. Tickets for the 5 day event will be $80.00 & available at the North Bay Granite Club 2624 Trout Lake Road, North Bay or by calling Bobby Ray at 705-472-6740.
Bellow you will find the draw schedule of games which will feature the top eight men’s teams from Northern Ontario. the winner of which will qualify for the Tim Hortons Brier in Ottawa March 5th to March 13th , 2016.
The teams taking part will all be known by the end of January 2016.
Two spots go to the top CTRS (Canadian Team Ranking System) points winners from Northern Ontario (in the top 75), which will be known by December 22nd 2015.
Three more spots will be awarded on January 10th 2016 after the West Qualifier at the Port Arthur CC in Thunder Bay.
The last three spots will be awarded January 24th 2016 after the East Qualifier in Sudbury at the Idylwylde G&CC.
Among the eight participating teams will be Canada’s reigning Olympic Champions and the 2015 winners of the Players’ Championship- the Brad Jacobs foursome from the Soo Curlers Association in Sault Ste. Marie.
