Club Bidding for 2018 World Women’s Curling Championships
It is with great pleasure that we announce that on March 21st our club, in partnership with the City of North Bay, entered into a bidding process to host the 2018 Ford World Women’s Curling Championship at Memorial Gardens.
The club thanks Dave Bennett and Rick Miller for taking the lead on this initiative. Details regarding how you can assist the bid will be released in the next couple of weeks.

On behalf of the City of North Bay and the North Bay Granite Club;
In light of the recent decision by North Bay City Council on behalf of the Executive and Members of the North Bay Granite Club we are pleased to announce we have joined in a partnership with the City to submit a bid to host the Ford World Women’s Curling Championship. If Curling Canada deems the bid successful the games would take place at Memorial Gardens March 17 to 25, 2018 with special events hosted at the North Bay Granite Club. The Championship would attract the world’s top ranked Women’s teams along with organizers, officials, media and fans to the City of North Bay.
A campaign to begin the pre sell of tickets will be announced shortly.
